Strengths:    INDESTRUCTIBLE! Super easy to set up, the lightest, and it comes in different colors!

Weaknesses:    none that I can find

Bottom Line:
The perfect chainguide! Being 36 tooth specific ensures that it will fit perfect with no chance of losing a chain. The 36 tooth Gamut Race Ring goes perfect with the design of the bashgaurd as well. The guide seems indestructible as there have been many times where I've smashed the bashgaurd on something, thinking that I must have broke it, but looked down to find that it's perfectly intact! I even bent one of the tabs of the crank spider from a crash and when I got new cranks, the bashgaurd still fit perfectly. The whole guide is basic to set up. The bashgaurd and boomerang mount on like any other would, leaving the only thing to adjust be how close the pulley wheel and top guide are to the chainring. As far as weight, it's the lightest I've seen and offers a full bash as opposed to little taco bashgaurds that can void the warranty on some frames. The colors are rad too, so you can make the guide fit into your color scheme. Overall amazing chainguide! I don't see how it could be any better!

Which chainguide on the Specialized Enduro Expert 2011, Gamut P20 or P30?

I need to replace the roller, want to replace with dual s line sliders but they're only compatible with the P30, not the P20. Specialized specs page isn't specific, and I can't tell the difference visually. Anyone knows by chance? Thanks!Read More »

Need help with P30 Gamut chain guide

So yesterday I bought a P30 chain guide at one of the not so local stores in San Diego county. I went to go install it this morning and what do you know the chain ring bolts on my stock crankset are not long enough to accommodate the bash guard and the new e13 guide ring. This is after one of the me ... Read More »

Gamut P30 or Straitline Silent Guide?

Decided to run my bike as a 1x10 because I only use the middle ring and am tired of getting the big ring snagged on roots and rocks. I'm looking at either running a straitline silent guide and like that it weighs a little less (but this isn't a big deal to me) but more that the fact it has sliders ... Read More »
