Submitted by schneidie a Downhiller from South Windsor, Connecticut, USA
Date Reviewed: August 24, 2009
Favorite Trail:Tempest
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $55.00
Purchased At:JensonUSA.com
Strengths:Fairly light, keeps the chain on the ring as it should, adjustablity.
Weaknesses:Lacks the ability to mount a taco
Similar Products Used:e.13 SRS, RaceFace Diablous
Bike Setup:2003 Sinister R9, RockShox Vivid 5.1, Super T pro, Sram x7, LS1
Bottom Line:This guide is good for a rider who is nice to their chainrings or bashguard. Not being able to mount the taco could put you in a position to really mess up your chain, which could jam your drivetrain. I use this guide for downhill racing. I'd steer clear if you're going to do any type of freeriding with thuis guide, but I'd buy one in a hurry if you're trying to build a light DH race bike on a budget.
