Price Paid:

Strengths:
Looks good, paint dosen't scatch easily, reasonably quiet and it can take a beating. Its pretty easy to set up aswell.
Weaknesses:
no matter how well set up it was, my chain still occasionally came off and it is very difficult to get the chain back on without tools. Also the roller soon gets dirt in-between the roller axel making it noisy and the little bolts soon become rusty.

goldtech chaindevice that comes with 24Seven speedset - VERY GOOD
Bottom Line:
The best things about this chaindevice are its looks and its toughness. I can't recommend it because it couldn’t fulfil its purpose of keeping the chain on and there are better chain devices that cost less yet do a better job.

Strengths:
THICK outer plate, easy to setup, very quiet, quite adjustable (inner guide moves in and out via two small allen bolts)
Weaknesses:
I hate tightening little bolts into my frame. There are two small bolts tightened at the Bottom bracket to keep the guide from rotating. Does the job though.

Strengths:
this device keeps the chain on all the time (unless your rear mech is badly set up and does bad stuff - but nevermind that) and it hardly rubs at all. The bash plate thing is also really handy when your trying to ride up stuff.
Weaknesses:
You need a really straight pair of cranks/axle/spider/whatever
Similar Products Used:
AC sport chain device (don't buy even when cheap) DMR speed guide (nice) MRP copy (feeble)
Bike Setup:
DS1, Pace RC37s, Hope up front, bmx stem (everyone should get one they rule)
Bottom Line:
This product should be the way all chain devices are made. It is strong and easy to fit (even for me!), it works, it's smooth, quiet and it comes in a range sizes so you can fit almost any chainring. Buy it

Duration Product Used:

Strengths:
Fairly Strong Keeps the chain on(after modifications) Looks cool
Weaknesses:
Top guide piece is not thick enough, leaves a small gap between the guide piece and bash ring. Chain comes off thru that gap.

Bike Setup:
Santa Cruz Chameleon, Z3 LT, XT drivetrain, other assorted ds/urban assualt stuff.
Bottom Line:
This guide system works well, after modifying the upper guide piece. I've thrown my chain a couple times, and then I figured out the deal. Add washers in between the guide plate and the upper guide piece, to space it out until it becomes flush with the bashring.
