Strengths: cheap, good, it works, don't have to worry about it.
Bottom Line:
cheap price, good equipment, it works, don't have to worry about it. shifting is fast and smooth, wear has been very slow unless your pinching off grams, look no further.

Strengths: Shifts well, durable, inexpensive
Weaknesses: none so far
Bottom Line:
This cassette came stock on an old bike and I decided to keep using it since it was in like-new condition even though the chain was worn and needed replacing. I also wanted to stay with 8 speed option which is more reliable and durable than 9 speed. The bottom line is this cassette works well, is durable and is inexpensive (less than half the price of new XTs).

Weaknesses: None really
Bottom Line:
Can't complain. Never had a problem with this cassette, except after 2 years it's worn out. I'll probably get another to replace it. Didn't notice any flexing issues, but at 160 pounds I'm not a pedal masher. I only use the 32-tooth ring for spinning, if I'm cranking on the pedals I'm in the 24 or 26. Have I hit 50 words yet?

Strengths: Shifts quickly and easily, and has a very good range of gears.
Weaknesses: Wear.
Bottom Line:
This came stock on the Trek 800 that I bought several years ago, and it probably has about 1500 miles on it. The teeth have gotten fairly worn, but will probably be good for another 1000 miles.
Strengths: Ligth,stiff,easily maintained.exelent crome finish.compadiable with 9 speed chains./narrows/
Weaknesses: none so far.slight finish chipping on the 7 & 8 speed.
Bottom Line:
Exelent value.I ride my bike with no mersy, and some times it is weeks between maintenances, so I'm satisfied. There is one thing you should check before installing it or if you have it as OE you should defeneately take it off and check and that is the little pin that holds the lagest /1-6/ rings. it should be tigthetened so it goes all the way trought the 6th gear.this will help you achieve more stiffnes and no movement on the casset against the hub which usually damages the chain or sometimes chips teeth. and you're all good to go...

Strengths: It looks dope, it's pretty light and works very well.
Weaknesses: are you stupid, better than lx,or xt.
Bottom Line:
I've got the 28/11 version..its very nice indeed i run a 9 speed sram chain on it( drilled lx rear end with custom jockey wheels) rocket shorty right shifter. NICE, just what the doctor ordered..its so nice to drop down several gears while you are braking..subline...oh and the click tells joggers to move their ass outa da way as you power by them. Very easy to set up.. piss easy to change cables....no phantom shifting from my set up baby! If you do suffer from the perils of phantom shifting get an Avid Roller-thingy to sick on the rear mech this will sort you out a treat mate.

Strengths: looks great,unbelievable performance
Weaknesses: none
Bottom Line:
I don't want anything to do with 9 speed. This product shifts flawlessly up and down with an inexpensive sram pc48 chain. With this cassette my worries are over. It actually shifts as good or better than my xtr cogs.

Strengths: It is really solid
Weaknesses: It wears out after about 4,000 miles...but what doesn't
Bottom Line:
I was so inpressed with it I went out and bought another one. I will be running this one on all of my bikes except my race bike that I want to be really really light but my freeride bikes Why not? its way good
Weaknesses: I just got this so I cant attest to its durability yet
Bottom Line:
I had absolutely no reason to upgrade my cassette because the other one really worked just fine, but I did and Im glad because now the old one is a piece of crap compared to this one. This one is the 11-28 tooth model which was what I had so I didnt feel any need to lower my gearing. Those who say this flexes are indeed smoking the whacky weed because mine is stiff as hell. I can see maybe that the top cog on the 11-32 model my deflect a bit, but lets get real people. The chain pulls the top of the cassette from the front, not side to side. I just recently upgraded to Shimano alivio shifters and a deore rear derailleur and experienced much improved shifting. I never realized how much better it would get from replacing my cassette. These are dirt cheap too, compared to shimano, they smoke them out of the water.

Strengths: Looks good, strong, shifts very well, 11-32T 8-speed.
Weaknesses: None encountered so far. Love the 11-32T setup and would rather have 11-32T 8-speed than 11-32T (or 11-34T) 9-speed, so this cassette is perfect.
Bottom Line:
I love this cassette because I am a fan of 11-32T 8-speed drivetrain. This thing shifts well, looks good, is light, and I have no complaints.
Bike Setup: Haro Escape 8.2 (Red/Black 19.5”): Manitou SIX Comp (100mm); Avid disc brakes (f&r); Shimano LX rear derailleur; Shimano Alivio shifters and front derailleur (8-speed); ProMax brake levers; TruVativ 5D Cranks; SRAM 5.0 cassette (8-speed 11-32T); Shimano IG51 Chain (8-speed); Alex DM18 Doublewall rims (32H); Intense 2.25" CC tires; Haro disc hubs, handlebar, stem, and seatpost; WTB Inner Peace ST headset, and Speed V Comp saddle.

Weaknesses: SOFT!!!
Bottom Line:
Absolute rubbish. After 1,000 kms totally worn out. My old XT'98 lasted approx 15,000 (!) kms and is still in better shape than SRAM 5.0 after less than one tenth. For me, the next choice is clear...(uh, maybe it's of a good value for those who want to sell a bike with shiny new casette)
