Bottom Line:
I use the 11-36 tooth version of this on my 1x10 and originally on a 3x10. It works great. Good gear combinations for everything I ride on and a good low gear for climbing. I like the alloy carrier on the 3 lowest gears for added rigidity. I also like how the chain slaps into gear in the top gear. It doesn't burble down there it just feels like its engaged solidly. I use a Shimano HG-X chain on this one, the cheapest one and it feels awesome when running through the gears so I recommend using Shimano's Dyna-Sys chain with this. However when this wears out I think I'll be trying the step down from this one, just to see how much of a difference there is.
