Product Description

The Shimano Saint CS-HG80 Cassette works well with Saint derailleurs to provide seamless shifting when it matters the most. Whether you're racing downhill or riding skinnies, you don't want to miss a shift and lose fractions of a second or end up on your face twelve feet below the woodwork.

Strengths:    It doesn't seem to bend like the crappy XT 9sp. That's a really heavy plus. Can't tell you how many XT cass' I've been through in the last 4 years.
I believe this is only a couple of grams heavier than the XT but it kicks the snot out of it in terms of reliability and hopefully durability.
If I am to be objective I would say since my bike was freshly put together new in Sept, I have been heavily on top on chains, cogs, cleaning etc. The best thing to do though, I believe, is to ensure your chain shifts smoothly before you go out or just after you cleaned in (after being out). Otherwise it could mess things up under load and may bend your cassette or break your chain

Weaknesses:    None seen yet

Bottom Line:
Buy it over XT unless you're a weight weenie
