from Vic, BC Date Reviewed: March 27, 2011 Strengths: It doesn't seem to bend like the crappy XT 9sp. That's a really heavy plus. Can't tell you how many XT cass' I've been through in the last 4 years. I believe this is only a couple of grams heavier than the XT but it kicks the snot out of it in terms of reliability and hopefully durability. If I am to be objective I would say since my bike was freshly put together new in Sept, I have been heavily on top on chains, cogs, cleaning etc. The best thing to do though, I believe, is to ensure your chain shifts smoothly before you go out or just after you cleaned in (after being out).
