Strengths: inexpensive, no stretchWeaknesses: so far as I can tell, none.Bottom Line: Picked up a 5 pack of these when I ordered my brakes and also got some new cable housing. Lubed and set everything up and haven't had to mess with any of it since. Only been 3 months. But I haven't noticed any stretch. The package says pre-streched. I dunno, but they work as good as the day I installed em so far. There is a black coating which I assume is weatherproofing. I like the fact this cable is "set it and forget it" or at least that's the way I'm treating it, till I see a reason not to!
