Strengths: LightweightWeaknesses: They failed after 1 month of light riding.
The dust covers do not stay on the bearing races, and the seals let dirt and water in on every ride
They are very expensive !!!
What a waste of moneyBottom Line: Very bad design, the seals and dust covers do not stay on the bearings. Dirt goes straight into the bearings and they fail after 5 or 6 rides (in dry conditions). These are the worst, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY on the Truvativ Blackbox GXP.

Strengths: Rolls smoothlyWeaknesses: Emits a hissing, creaking sound when brand new. The annoying hiss diminishes as the bearing break in. I'm hoping soon it will disappear all together.Bottom Line: Before purchasing the BB I was doubtful whether ceramic bearings would make any difference. I discovered there is one. Pedaling is smoother.
Is it much smoother? Is it worth the money? As for the former, not much, but you'd feel it. As for the latter, it's up to you.
I would purchase again a ceramic BB. In my mind whatever make me feel better ridding (physically! Not marketing BS), is worth the money.
One chilly off in value rating since it's costly for what it offers.
One chilly off in overall rating for the hiss.
