Strengths: Easy to install, rolled smooth and the axle is strong. Good price.Weaknesses: Doesn't last very long.....failed.Bottom Line: I only had 3-400 miles on the BB b4 it developed a creek. That eventually turned into play at the crank. This is the only BB in 12 years of riding that has failed.

Strengths: lasts a long time, does what it is supposed to doWeaknesses: eventually breaks - AFTER 3+ YEARS!Bottom Line: i can't say enough good things about this bb. it lasted just over 3 years on my bike, and I rode a ton of DH (15k+ vertical feet each weekend) this summer and part of last. it only just gave out, and at that, it still runs - just not very smooth. no complaints. lots of bad comments about this bb, but not many out there have a score of more than 3.5 chilis...

Ive checked how it spins, and it worked perfectly (i ride hard - street), almost like new. Ive got Gigapipe DH (not Team DH), i dont know why most of reviewers complaining.. this is real DH/FR Bottom Bracket!

Strengths: when not placed in frame looks coolWeaknesses: after about 5 months of ridin' there are some strange noises comming from this bb [like cracking and grinding] and now i've been using it for 6th month and this bb is DEAD
also the cups in the sides are ALU so it makes so god damn easy to wrap them...Bottom Line: for first 4-5 months this bb worked great, but then started different problems with it

Strengths: NONEWeaknesses: ALLBottom Line: I've made the mistake of purchasing several of these.
These BB's are the only BB's that start creaking as soon as their put into service...absolute junk. Based on poorly they perform, I wouldn't buy any other Truvativ product!

Strengths: aparently strong?Weaknesses: everythingBottom Line: where do i start?
when i got my bike it came stock with a crappy truvativ bb and it was creaking within 2 weeks. i greased it up and it lasted another 6 months until i noticed some wobble in it. i pulled it out and there was 1/8 inch wobble to it. NO JOKE!!.
i took it to my bike shop and they upgraded me to the gigapipe team dh after they talked to the warantee dept.(i couldnt get an awnser out of them)anywho... i threw it and if you torque it to their specs it wont spin, so i backed it off a lil bit.
all was fine for a whole 2 WEEKS!! until i got some extremly loud creaking from it. i pulled it out and the spindle was bent because the bearings were grinding on only the one side. i took it into the shop and they told me to literally abuse it until it had some wobble so i could another one
How long does the cycle go on for???
Bottom line: you will have better luck with even shimano and raceface
did i mention how much hussefelt cranks suck too, i ride a dually and i ripped the fricken inserts out!!! just thought id let you know
ZERO chillies for this peice of crap(if i could)

Strengths: Nothing, it held the cranks in place.Weaknesses: 1 season at Deer Valley and it's shot, bearings are gone and for a "Downhill Botom Bracket" they only give you a 1 year warranty.Bottom Line: Do not buy this, IF truvativ is any good with customer service I will repost with what happens.

Strengths: Price
Spindle is strongWeaknesses: Bearings went south faster than any bb I have ever had. Creaks like it was a frog...Bottom Line: Works, but not very long. My local shops said that they always have bearing problems with Truvativ, and it seems as though I am no exception.
It did take some good abuse, but I epected it to last longer.

Strengths: everythingWeaknesses: water makes it run poorly when it gets inside the shell, but if you drain it it workd perfectlyBottom Line: this is a sweet b/b and i will never ride anything else. it is a pain to drain it if you get water in the frame shell. but it makes up for it in strenght and stifness, i have had the b/b for a long time and only had to drain it once. it is really worth the money and it is best used w/ a holzfeller DH crank set.

Strengths: sram's warranty department rocks, stiff till it takes a beatingWeaknesses: weak, bearings stiffing up offten, but they come loose with a couple of spinsBottom Line: I'm on my second one in less than 6 months. Sram warrentied my first one which broke on the trail with miles to go. NOw my replacement has play in it which is very noticeable when peddalling. I'm not impressed with this thing. DOn't believe the "go big" advertisment, that's crap. If this thing can't stand up to my riding it's not strong enough to be a DH bb. Most abuse i've put this thing through is a couple of 5 foot drops to flat. I am on a hard tail, but i don't consider that "going Big." I don't know what hard core sponsored riders are using, but if they're running this thing they must have a stock pile, and change out every week or so. I'm going to stick with this model as long as sram continuies to warranty it. I will never pay for another one. In defence of this product, i've yet to find a bb that lasts.

Strengths: large spindals no creaking, this is probably the best bottom bracket i have ever had.i have gone threw a bunch of bottom brackets made by truvativ and i have busted my share of spindals. so i decided to this baby and nothing yet.Weaknesses: dosent really have one other then its a little on the heavy side.Bottom Line: its a good bottom braket, use it for what it says on the braket.
