EVERYTHING! This is by far the best BB I have ever used. After three years on my CX/gravel grinder bike and tons of neglect and abuse, this is flawlessly smooth. A warranted for 10 years... Who does that? Companies confident in their product! After a handful of Raceface and FSA BB going south in a matter of months, I made the leap. Glad I did.

Any weakness is all mine... I should probably pull it out an grease the threads. But it spins so smooth, it may just outlive the frame.

I've seen a lot of these new pressed in BBs give all sorts of problems on a variety of frames... Campy, Shimano & Sram. Sure they are lite, but is it really worth the aggravation?
Install and forget.

You know that 'feeling' when you have just changed gears, and the teeth on the chain ring bring the chain taut and you solidly 'connect' with the rear cassette, and there is this pure and true feeling of 'cycling' - you know this brief feeling that is just so perfect? Well, this bottom bracket 'is' that feeling 'continuously'. It's like honey poured out of a jar, it's that feeling that you can finally take your mind off your 'never' ending upgrades and 'enjoy the ride'. Series 600 ISIS Free Ride 68/73 x 113. It came with a package of 'correctly' sized truvativ crank bolts (smaller bolts, smaller bore, Bigger Bearings, free ride version)- free of charge or included in the sale price, either way, WOW!

I am concerned that SKF will stop production on this much needed cycling component. I don't know this for a fact or rumor, but it's hard to understand why there is only one official distributor of these 'units' on planet Earth. It's weird. It's as thou a brief window of opportunity has opened up to allow a 'few' to own this anomalous find.

It was either Chris King, external bearings, more 40 to 60 dollar adequate bottom brackets, or this 'obscure' bottom bracket manufactured by a hundred year old bearing company. I can't imagine why someone hasn't designed flat pedals with SKF bearings....I'm not flashy, so I didn't go with Chris King, I didn't buy this for 'bling', I bought this because I really, really wanted a quality component is the 'heart' of the bike. I am truly impressed.

Went through 3 big name ISIS in 1 year then bit the bullet and bought one of these, now over 2 years later its still 100%, its been through mud and dust and gets pounded on my singlespeed.

None, you get what you pay for.

Would buy another tomorrow if need be..... though with a 10 year guarantee on these it would probably only happen if i sold the bike.

I did a little homework for everyone. I really hope this helps. There is only one distributor in the United States for these bottom brackets, they are in Seattle, WA. LBS order from these guys by the way. They are 'compasscycle'. Yes, google does have another listing for SKF bottom brackets, out of Canton, Ga., (I live in Atlanta), don't bother, I am saving you the trouble here. The official SKF contact in the US is for Industrial Use, again, don't bother. Atleast compasscycle guarantees the bearings in these devices for 10 years. They cost $140 each. SKF is based in Germany. I haven't bought one yet, I am gathering my pennies, LOL. Thanks guys/girls.

Durable, High Quality, Smooth

Expensive

This is the only ISIS bottom bracket that will last the life of your bike. Yes, it's expensive, and it weighs a couple hundred grams more than other ISIS BB's, but you get what you pay for and I'd rather pay extra for something that's high quality, than have to constantly worry about my BB crapping out. I got lucky and picked it up on sale from Hibike in Germany for $95 shipped...even with International shipping it still came out $40 less than everywhere else.

I can ride this BB through 2 feet of silty mud and not worry. You can put the hose on high blast and clean it without worry. If you want a BB that will outlast the bike then get this one. I have the SKF BXC 600. Stiff and strong, good qualities for the transfer of power!

Heavy and expensive - but its worth it!

Beeing a heavy rider putting down a lot of power the other ISIS BB I tried (FSA, I'm looking at you!) flexed so much pedalling always meant FD rubbing on the big ring regardless of what rear cog was in use. This one doesn't. Looks good too.

Threw it on and went to a 6 days long XC stage race the next day, splashing through deep rivers, crossing swamps, mud baths, bombing down 10km rock gardens, downhill courses, drops, rocks hitting the arms, crashes, you name it. Would you risk it with any other XC ISIS BB??

4 chilis for value as I don't know how long this baby will last yet ;)

You get what you pay for, SKF's stock in trade is making brilliant bearings for industry, this BB is no different. The 600 series has stainless casing, shaft, the works, drive side bearings are high load rollers, not balls. I expect this BB to outlive me. We would not have outboard bearing BB's if ISIS units had been made this well at the outset.

This BB cost me a bomb, and like top quality tools, it is well worth it for the peace of mind that it will never let you down (as all other ISIS BB's had done).

If you're chasing low weight then don't buy one. If you want a bulletproof part that is reliable and you're willing to tolerate an extra couple of hundred grams down there then don't hesitate.
