Product Description

Mount up the e.thirteen XC Bottom Bracket, install your favorite e.thirteen crankset, and hit the trail. The 98-gram weight won't make it feel like your buddies dropped lead fishing weights down your seat tube again.

Strengths:    Light weight, easy to install, clean, and replace.

Weaknesses:    The external BB is good for about a year unless you pull apart and clean once a month, then good for 2 years. It contaminates easily, getting plenty of grit between the crank spindle and sealed bearing. Be sure to use anti-seize on the crankarm bolt or it will lock to the spindle - even when torqueing to spec.

Bottom Line:
Awesome cranksets and rings. Triple oval interface really does create a perfect junction between the non-drive crank and spindle. Just wish the BB's were as good as the Shimano, SRAM, and Raceface stuff.
This review is for the external BB only, the Pressfit BB's are horrible and only live for 4-6 months. I'm not a fan of PF's anyway. I have no experience with other brand PF BB's.

RockShox XC 32 TK Coil to Solo Air Conversion

I looked at the parts diagram and it looked like a drop in replacement. I purchased the RockShox XC32 Spring Internals Left 26/29 120 Solo Air replacement part, but have encountered an issue with the install. When I install the Solo Air it doesn't fully seat so I can't engage the threads on the top ... Read More »
