Kona Shonky DJ/MtnX

DESCRIPTION

A couple of years ago, we applied Kona Cromoly Butted tubing to a great dirt-jump design. Since then, riders from around the world have been raving about the Shonky's lively action. And because no one does steel like Kona, we figured we'd go ahead and take it to the next level. We stepped it up with a lower toptube, integrated chain tensioners and a rough-and-tough RockShox Argyle fork. With a lifetime warranty on the frame, the Shonky is the ultimate dirt-jump warrior.

  • RockShox Argyle R 80mm w/20mm D/O fork
  • Pivotal seat and seatpost
  • Completely redesigned frame for 2012
  • Maxxis DTH tires

    Strength:

Best feeling DJ frame I've ridden. Perfect for 4x, Park, or the local DJs.

    Weakness:

Stock BB is a bit weak, and the cranks are heavy.

Awesome all around frame for pretty much any kind of freestyle riding. Also a great frame for 4x. Definitely a bike to consider if your looking for a solid mtb. My personal favorite out of all I've owned.
