First race

I have experience in racing, just not on a bicycle. It's a pretty easy 20 miles compared to what I ride everyday. I'm ready for a slap in the face though, any tips from you experienced guys would be appreciated. Edit: I'm also scared. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkRead More »

Duo/Xera and some cheap-o lights - 18 hour race report

My new combo worked outstanding in this weekend's race. I rode ~4 hours at night with this set up and it was flawless. The optics work so well vs. the reflectors on both the bar (Duo) and helmet (Xera - used the spot optic vs. the stock one). I used my GMG batteries with no issues and charged aft ... Read More »

First cx race of the season. No *pop* in my legs.

This is my third season of cx. I'm about 6 weeks into training for cx this year. I raced endurance XC all summer. I've not changed anything diet wise or training wise in the last few weeks. I haven't been sleeping a whole lot this week, though . If the race would have been a time trial effort, I w ... Read More »

First race - Lost motivation

Finally there was a race at my 'home track' where I've been riding for the last year and a half. This was the first race I ever took part in and just decided to do it for fun. I guess you'd call it an XC race but I'm not sure about that.. The race was 3 laps of a very technical track that I am quit ... Read More »
