Strengths: cheaper, tough, sized rightWeaknesses: over logo'edBottom Line: drank the "shorter stem" koolade and it worked. My FSR is now a downhiller. No more dumb Spec___d OEM stem, too long and too high. Big screws, lots of bulk, dependable, the stem you will keep when sell the bike.

Strengths: If you feel uncomfortable leaning too far forward to reach your handlebars this will bring the bars closer to you. Excellent finish looks bombproof.Bottom Line: I have a Truvativ Stylo crank and BB, the stem and now the bars and I have ordered the seatpost. So you could say I am happy with Truvativ. I was uncomfortable in the riding position of my stock Brodie but this stem Brings the bars closer to me and also with my new bars which have a nice reach my riding comfort is much improved. The pricing of Truvativ components is very competitive. The stem has a nice satin black finish that is tough as well. I like the understated styling and white logo.

Strengths: super strong, looks cool, never comes loose.Weaknesses: none.Bottom Line: SWEEEEEET!!!!! ploughed through a 4in thick tree hitting the stem head on and it's still tight and lined up perfectly. it looks great and isn't too expensive compared to most stems these days. i recomend.

Strengths: It is a tank. Matches my Hussefelt handlebars with equal tankyness and slick looks. Pretty sure I've taken down some trees with it.Weaknesses: If you are a weight weenie, it is "heavy".Bottom Line: Get it. Install it. Forget it.
NO creeks, no fuss, extremely well built as is the rest of the Hussefelt line. NO hesitations to yank on your bars and take the hardest line you can find.

Strengths: The whole thing is a built like a tank! No worries of it ever breaking at all. It is also very very inexpensive; you could find one for $25 or less.Weaknesses: It weighs a bit, but what do you expect from something so strong?Bottom Line: It's a beast, strong as hell. Looks very cool too with the shape and logo. Highly recommend this, it is the only stem you will ever need. Extremely affordable reliability, costs less than $25 if you know where to look.

Strengths: Strong
Looks Great
Good BoltsWeaknesses: None that I came across - like anything it scratches easily
Can't mount a bike computer on it!Bottom Line: This was a great stem while I had it - Truvativ make excellent products at a great price and are probably a bit underrated.
I had the 60mm length and unfortunately it turned out to be too short for my style of riding.
I have taken it on & off the bike numerous time (trying to figure out the best cockpit set up) and never have the bolts been threaded or stripped etc.
Great durable stem - on the heavy side for xc/ trail but then again that's not really it's intended use!

Strengths: strong, short and extremely comfortable for dh/freerideWeaknesses: My first one i had came on my bike and while in whistler both screw holes for the steer tube became threadless. (may have had to do with being re-assembled constantly for shipping.Bottom Line: i replaced the one i broke right after with the same thing and havent had any problems. this stem shows that there is no need to go to high end and waste your buck.

Strengths: Extremly strong and very short. they arent sketchy feeling like some other stems.Weaknesses: I think it would have been cooler with a gloss paint. but thats not a big issue.Bottom Line: this thing has handled urban, freeride, dirtjumps just about everything. i'm always tampering with forks on my bike, so its constantly getting removed and put back on again. its never stripped out.
