Strengths: Doesn't slip, looks strongWeaknesses: 51.5mm stack height, welded instead of 1 piece forged/cnc'dBottom Line: Make sure you have enough steerer for it to clamp onto. The clamp on this is well over 10mm taller than typical stems.

Strengths: It´s appears to be very stiff and does its job very well.
I´ve got it on a Specializid Big Hit.Weaknesses: It takes the beating.Simply one of the best.Bottom Line: Titec El Norte is a very good stem for Extreme Mountain Biking. It´s not that expensive and definely better than the Big Hit stem.
