Strengths:    Adjustability, weight, stiffness, finisch quality

Weaknesses:    none so far. Maybe the fact that you can only use Syntace bars.

Bottom Line:
Great if you like to adjust your bars to your riding style. Easy enough to do before a long downhill ride on a tour. Also good to find you ideal bar position on a new bike.

Strengths:    Price, looks, weight and adjustability.

Weaknesses:    The 5mm bolt didnt look strong enough to handle big hits but according to syntace website, it was approved for DH. So time will tell.

Bottom Line:
Amazingly light, stiff, insanely cheap and you cant beat it's adjustability. Somehow it just looks just awesome on my versus frame and guys envy me. Also love the fact that I can mount my cyclo computer at the center of my handlebar. There's nothing on the market that can do that. Even if I ever change my frame, I'll be sure that my steam and handle bar will come from syntace. Kudos guys. 10 chilis for the good job done.

Strengths:    Light, stiff, strong, adjustable (never had one slip, fwiw)

Weaknesses:    None that I've found except that I wish you could still easily source them.

Bottom Line:
Love them, too bad they're generally not available at US retailers. Have been happy with mine for many years (bought 4 sets, two in small, two in medium with a couple extra bars. Good enough for Hans Rey, good enough for me.

Date Reviewed: July 8, 2006

Strengths:    Adjustability, forward, backward, up, down.

Weaknesses:    Adjustability, one hard drop to flat could possibly force the bars to move since they are held in place by 2 5mm bolts.

Bottom Line:
Ill do a follow up, but the cool thing is it is adjustable. Time will tell about the durability.
