Strengths: looks cool, cheap, comes in 1 inch.Weaknesses: stripped both steer-tube bolts with pocket allenBottom Line: This thing worked great for about a year, then this morning I overtorked and stripped both steer tube bolts with my park pocket allen.
I can see over tightening if I had a big shop allen, but I wasn't even cranking hard on the thing. I'm guessing the other review here is more gentle and can tell that if he goes any tighter it'll snap.
Don't buy unless you routinely carry a torque wrench.

Bottom Line:
I ride a 1 headtube steel frame with a threaded Mag 21 fork. THe quill version of the Ritchet Force is a nice-looking, strong, light stem. MY one complaint is that I cannot tighten down the expander bolt enough. Every time I fall, the stem gets twisted. Never happens while I am just riding along, but I haven't crashed once without the thing loosening up and twisting.
