With the increasing popularity of direct-mount stems, Point One has created a new standard with its unique ultra-light four piece design that no other competitor comes close to. It also offers the same stack height and 55mm clamp width as the traditional mount split-second stem, creating yet again the highest stiffness-to-weight ratio of any stem we have tested in its class. Proudly made in the USA.

Weaknesses:
none

Bike Setup:
SC V10. fox 40, X0, CK with 823s
Bottom Line:
It is worth every cents. the 55mm clamping stablizers the front of the bike very very well. the weight, well on a dh bike you can't really feel it if you have used another lightweight one and difference is ard 10g but I like the way it looks. black and sexy. I wish replaycycles.com brought in the SS DM in nickel cos the SS which they had in nickel and ti bolts looks extremely sweet.
The high price might put off any one wanting a great stem. but really, its worth every one. I have tried to break it by standing on my bars but it refuses to break. Therefore call me extreme but its a damn damn good product. u can't beat it. Point One, when are you going to do seat clamps, post etc? I hope you do cos I will be buying them!
