Strengths:    It's a stem and it holds my bars where I need them and it is much stronger than the xc 70mm stem I used when figuring out the fit. Looks OK.

Weaknesses:    I got the 70mm stem and its heavy, especially when compared to the Thompson equivalent, and really only a little cheaper.

Bottom Line:
I really got the stem out of convenience. I do ride a Niner Rip 9 RDO in a medium so I guess there is some brand continuity as well. It looks ok and is really stiff, but for the price if I did it again I would pay a few dollars more and get a Thompson. They look awesome and are like 50-60 grams lighter. I'm no weight weenie but for ten bucks its a decent weight savings.
