Strengths:    Strong, simple design, not too heavy, looks pimp

Weaknesses:    no more kooka to warranty it if anythng happens

    Bottom Line:
This stem is dope. It's not heavy for a DH stem. It's ridiculously strong, you just set it and forget it. It wasn't cheap, but I don't regret buying it even though it felt like a lot of money at the time. Sweet!

    Strengths:    -looks snazzy
-lifetime warranty (that is no longer aval.) lol
    -great blowout price

Weaknesses:    -company went under, thus no warranty service if I need it.

    Bottom Line:
So far this stem has been awesome, nothing to complain about. It looks totally rad, simple design, nice and stiff and it used to have a lifetime warranty--which means it probably will not break anytime soon! Will update as necessary if anything goes wrong.

five & five for this bugger!

    Longer DH Stem

I am looking to upgrade the cockpit on a DH bike that is a little too small for me. I want to run a 60 or 65mm stem and wider bars (780 mm) to help stretch out a little more. Any strength concerns for running a DH specific (Easton Havoc, Truvativ Hussefelt or Holzfeller) stem that is that long? ... Read More »
