Price Paid:
$50.00
Purchased At:
ebay UK
Strengths:
light, stiff, good looking
Weaknesses:
FSA spec sheet says the stem comes with Ti 6-4 hardware with TiPrep?
Whatever that means the bolts are not Titanium at all - I removed them and weighted, they came the same weight as steel bolts.
The Carbon looking clamp is heavier than aluminium Thomson clamp.
Similar Products Used:
Thomson X4, which I found stiffer and even better looking.
Bike Setup:
do-it-all MTB HT
Bottom Line:
No doubts one of the best looking, fairly stiff, versatile and pretty light stem on the market at reasonable price - if you can buy is off EBay.
Disappointed with detail like bolts not actually Titanium and HEAVY carbon clamp.
Excellent stem for road or XC riders but if you do All Mountain and still require 90mm long stem I would probably go with some extra cash a buy the Thomson X4 of Gravity Light (former FSA FR-200).

Strengths:
super stiff, respectably light, nice 4-bolt faceplate design, clean lines
Weaknesses:
kind of pricey, have to be extra careful with Ti hardware (use finish line ti-prep)
Similar Products Used:
Ritchey WCS, Bontrager, Syntace
Bike Setup:
on my roadbike... Cannondale w/ ultegra 10, Dura-Ace Wheels
Bottom Line:
a solid stem for sure. it may not be the lightest, but it certainly is damn sturdy for 135 grams. i'd run it road or mountain.
