Duration Product Used:
1 Year
Strengths:
Stiff, light, looks good, cheap!
Weaknesses:
Has a weird shape that tricks you when aligning the bars to the wheel.
Similar Products Used:
Bog standard Kalloy, Easton EA50
Bottom Line:
I'm not sure sure why these aren't on every all-mountain rig. The stem is very stiff, excellent quality bolts with steel insert-threads, looks mean and costs and weighs far less than the Easton vice counterpart!
So there you have it - strong, light and cheap CAN coexist.
Only downside is it has somme weird shape than plays tricks with your mind when alligning your bars to the wheel after loosening a headset - just ignore the stem and look at the bars!
