Favorite Trail:Clementine loop (Auburn)
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:weight, looks, strength
Weaknesses:Bolts creak after about 70 miles then you have to regreese them, other than the bolts this stem rocks
Similar Products Used:Stock setup on 98 GT Rebound
Bike Setup:DEAN Oscar, SID SL, XT kit, RPM's, Kooka cranks and levers ,Avid Mag brakes
Bottom Line:This stem is sweet and haven't had a real problem yet. If your'e looking for a light weight (190G)stem I would buy this stem. Came on my bike when I joined DEAN's team last year and plan to use it till it breaks them buy another.
I give it 5 Flaming cat carcases

Date Reviewed: June 20, 1999
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Strengths:
Light, Looks Good
Similar Products Used:
Zoom, Kore
Bike Setup:
Dean Oscar, XT and XTR mix
Bottom Line:This stem is very nice. It is lighter than the Kore stem. You do have to keep an eye on the front bolts, as they will loosen until seated-in. The stem looks great also. Watch the Dean website for sales and auctions on this product.
