$49.00 | | Purchased At: | Directly from Linear Components | | Strengths: | Stiff, etched graphics and specs (torque, length, rise, diameter) | | Weaknesses: | none | | Similar Products Used: | Syntace, Kore and Control Tech (including Control Tech products from the old days) | | Bike Setup: | Surly 1x1, FSA cranks and BB, Surly hubs/Alex rims, rigid fork, Control Tech carbon bar, Control Tech stem and post. New additions: 2.4 Mutano Raptors, XTR V-brakes | | Bottom Line: | This stem (I'm using the 100mm)is probably the stiffest I've ever used. I am using it with the Contorl Tech 202 Carbon Riser bar on my rigid single speed. It does not budge when pulling on steep climbs, and is perfectly stiff on rough descents. Quality is exceptional, set-up was a no-brainer, the bars fit properly, etc.
The stem is stiff, well built and has cool laser-etched graphics and specs(I'm a sucker for that stuff). I recommend this stem to SS and cross country riders. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
