Strengths: Fit and finish of this stem is second to none. Very stiff and just as light as anything else out there.Weaknesses: Not available in Portland area. Chad @ Red Barn comes through again. Chromag is getting bigger all the time, lets see more of them in the USA.Bottom Line: This stem replaced a Thompson X4 that cracked at the steer tube bolt. This design has more meat where needed and feels stiffer (Thats what she said). Anyway after several rides on it I am very glad I bought it. I can highly recomend it. I picked up the pewter with black face plate. They do run about $80 but thats the price for a nicely made stem.
