Bike Setup:
Stock Trek 4500
Bottom Line:
Well I didn't search out this stem, it came on the bike, but I like it. I'm getting back into riding after an almost ten year gap of not riding. So I've been beatting the hell out of this bike for a while. It's held up great, better than the shock has. I'm getting ready to change out the bars on my girfriends bike and I'll be putting one of these on hers.

Favorite Trail:
Pontiac Lake/Bloomer/Stoney Creek
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Purchased At:
Main Street Bicycles (I work there)
Strengths:
Much lighter than stock. Lighter than Race as well (10g).
Weaknesses:
none, it's a stem
Similar Products Used:
Stock Bontrager stem
Bottom Line:
For $30, you save quite a bit of weight over the stock Bontrager stem (less than sport). You even keep 10gs off over the Bontrager race stem that's $10 more. Not a bad comprosmise. Win-win situation. Add some lighter bars and you'll save big time up high.
