Strengths:    Grip on shifter matches profile of included SRAM grip perfectly. Smooth shifting, durability, reliability.

Weaknesses:    None if you like grip shifters.

Bottom Line:
I prefer the X7 grip shifters to the X9 and X0 because I don't like the bulge in the grips on the X9 and X0 shifters. The X7 grip is smaller, so there is a smooth transition between the shifter grip and the handlebar grip. These things last forever! (or until you physically wear the material off the grips, like I did with my first pair).

Strengths:    Simple, reliable

Weaknesses:    Rubber grips get worn down after a while.

Bottom Line:
Simple, reliable, fast shifting. I replace the shifters and drivetrain on my bike when everything wore out, but stuck to 8 speed. These shifters are better than the old x-rays that came stock on my bike.
