Submitted by mojavehanna a Cross Country Rider from Las Vegas, NV. USA
Date Reviewed: January 27, 2009
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $40.00
Purchased At:PricePoint
Strengths:Good, cheap, reliable.
Weaknesses:sight windows are kind of a joke.
Similar Products Used:Assorted Shimano trigger shifters, assorted SRAM "grip shifters".
Bike Setup:GT LTS
Bottom Line:These shifters work pretty good for a lower priced shifter. I upgraded my bike to 9spd and needed new shifters. I wanted to stay with twist shifters and not spend alot... these were my choice and I am satisfied with them so far. Although there is no rocket science to twist shifters these seem to be pretty solid and of good quality. Works well with Shimano XT rear deraileur too.
