Strengths: Fantastic shifting, seems to be totaly in tune with me, the bike seems to change before i think about it, and so smooth, clean and silently. Plus they are cheaper than a Shimano alternative.
Weaknesses: I thought to begin with they looked fragile but with just over a years use they proved to be exceptional. So not really a weakness i suppose.
Bottom Line:
God i hope these things never change design. Cant stress enough how good these things work. XT shifting is still very good but so fiddely compared to Sram. I was all fingers and thumbs when changing gears with Shimano, but these things are so right. Changing is intuative, the bike feels as one.(sounds sad i know) Plus you can change as many gears up or down as you like whilst braking. Try doing that with Shimano without dislocating a digit.
WELL DONE SRAM YOU REALLY GOT ONE OVER ON THE BIG "S"
