Strengths:
Light, smooth and intuitive to use, extremely durable, and cool lookin.Weaknesses:
This isn't 9 speed, and therefore puts me in a bind getting compatable
replacement parts. I wouldn't mind trying a NEW Campy offroad product.Bottom Line: These shifters work great, haven't broken in 5 years time
and are light and pretty. They came off the bike for a while
while I was using the Sachs twist shifters..which are really
pretty good, but the front shiftin on the sachs just didn't feel
as good as the campy, and the rear Record OR shifter
feels very sensitive, smooth, and precise. These aren't
made any more of course, but it's a shame cause they
really are kinda cool. They get 5 stars, one for every year of use.
