Easy to set up. Looks cool

The other reviews were right -- the damn lower clamp half becomes loose in the post. So not only do you hear an extremely loud creaking but your seat swivels too! This post is a piece o' crap. It's going back to Performance as soon as I can get it off the bike

Get a Thomson post and forget this creaking nightmare!

What a piece of cr@p!!! I'm not even sure how I broke it. This is easily the worst piece of equiptment I've been suckered into by a bargain. The design makes no sense. There are no welds!!!

seat rail base plate becomes detached.

This is a cheesy design thats held together by some rather cheap adhesive. Metal does not stick to metal without welds. I could not find their website to let them know about this flaw...figures.

Forget Syncros (noisy), Ritchey (I managed to bend them twice) and that other expensive stuff - this post is light, stiff, very easy to adjust, available in black and silver, tons of diameters and costs one third of a syncros post. (thats why GT(Zaskar), Scott(Thermoplast) and others have this post with their names on their Bike)

this thing is a major league piece of crap. i didn't even ride the thing off-road - it's on my commuter bike, for crying out loud! the head broke loose just like the other guy's did. junk junk junk junk junk.

i'd give it 0 if i could.

creak then comes loose

they are cheap, light and microadjustable but just do not last. they come unstuck. you can fix but it will only last a few more months before it will start to creak really bad and then your seat starts to turn then it swivels and you need to get another post before you can ride again. i hate being unable to ride due to crappy parts failing and wasting money on new stuff that simply hold your seat in the right place...hopefully.
