Strengths:    Prety, good basic materials

Weaknesses:    Glue!

Bottom Line:
After less than 50 miles this post turned into the exorcist! A real head spinner. Too bad ita a piece of crap, cause it sure is pretty. It shoild not be difficult to produce a quality part. Common sense would preclude gluing a round post into a round socket on a item subject to lateral twisting. Duh

Strengths:    Lightweight, Strong, Not giving me much problem after 1.5 years of rather heavy usage. Micro adjust allows me to make rather accurate adjustment to the tilt of the saddle easily.

Weaknesses:    A little difficult to install the saddle initially.

Bottom Line:
Very happy with it. I am a rather heavy rider (>100kg) and rides regularly both on road and XC riding. Did 5000km in the first year and this seatpost is able to keep up with my riding.Never did my saddle even creaks once properly installed onto the seatpost.

Strengths:    It holds the Seat up!

Weaknesses:    The head is attached to the tube with glue, yes, glue!
First hard knock and your seat will end up facing a different direction to the bike! Keep well clear, in my opinion, based on experiance this an awful product.

Bottom Line:
If you value certain important parts of your anatomy, buy something designed to take a little more punishment! Thompson Elite all the way....!
