Strengths:
exquisite Tom Ritchey mtb componant design at its very best.
very light + very strong + really easy to use.
SL one bolt clamp system holds saddle supertight + does not creak.
good range of post sizes + range of wide rail kits for carbon saddles - like my SLR Carbonio Flow.
it never slips, even hard jolts with my Epic's FSR rear suspension fast asleep.
Weaknesses:
can MSRP be a weakness? but you get what you pay for with this seatpost (...shop around!)
Similar Products Used:
Syntace, S-Works, Alien, Thomson, Schmolke
Bike Setup:
S-Works, KMC X9 SL, Schmolke, Syntace, Marta Magnesium, Race King Supersonic, SLR Carbonio Flow, 4Ti, XTR, SRAM X.O
Bottom Line:
a trully beautiful WCS Carbon weave seatpost that works as well as it looks, the WCS Carbon 4-Axis stem is equally good + matches it perfectly.
shop around for the best prices because the MSRP is very steep.
...5 chilis for value - if you can nab it for $100 under MSRP like i did!...
