Strengths: Light, easy and quick to adjust, strong and stiff. Nice graphics and torque details for each bolt.Weaknesses: Need to be clamped below the Race Face graphics area due to thiner construction in this area to reduce weight.Bottom Line: This post is light (260g for 27.2mm at 400mm), strong, stiff and real easy to adjust quickly. The graphics are very nice and durable, same for the black finish. Don't forget to grease the post first prior to insert it into the frame to prevent creaking and protect the finish.
I purchased the 2010 Deus (not the Deus XC), in red graphics, 27.2mm, 400mm long. I really like Deus collection components, so this was my post of choice for XC and trail.
Outstanding product and can be had for less then $30 now online. MSRP was $64.99.

Strengths: weight, adjustability, and reliabilityWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: Setting the saddle position was fast and easy. I weigh in at 185 and have ridden the hell out of this post on a hardtail for over a year. It has not moved one millimeter and never creaks.
It's like all seatposts should be: Set it, forget it, and ride.
