Strengths:    Once a saddle is installed, it's easy to adjust.

Weaknesses:    Probably the most fiddly post head ever invented.

Bottom Line:
Really difficult to install the saddle without cross threading the mounting bolt. The only way I was able to mount the saddle was by screwing another bolt into the opposing clamp to provide leverage to hold the clamp so that the threaded screw hole opposite the mounting bolt would line up.

If Shimano had used a nut on a cam or something similar to allow for initial misalignment it would be dramatically easier to install.

It's easy to adjust the saddle position once the saddle is finally installed. Also this design seems to hold the saddle more tightly than most other one boot mounts I've encountered.

Still,I can't recommend this post due to the difficulty of initial installation.
