Strengths: Extremely light, seems to be tough, works for me.Weaknesses: the anodizing lasted about a week before it began to wear off, sometimes creaks.Bottom Line: got the post because my titec bent and the binder bolt on the trek post kept breaking. This post is lighter with the seat on than the titec on alone, big plus. it wasn't cheep. but it has lasted longer than the other two combined. it has held up, and that is good especially because i am 6'6" and 250lbs. The anodizing has worn, but thats no big deal because i ride on trails, not the runways of paris. the creaking may be due to the fact that one of the rails on my saddle is bent. other than that, i am happy with my buy.

Strengths: It is one of the lightest posts out there.
It is a very light post, and the anodized colors are pure cocktail!
Weaknesses: The allen bolts that adjust the seat aren`t user friendly, as they are too close to the post.If your not careful, you can scratch your beautiful new post with your wrench.Bottom Line: this is my 2nd. kooka post,this first one couldn`t keep my seat tight. I was a little leary of such a light post, but I loved the company for their involvement in the local race scene.Anyway, the first post was just a pretty piece of crap, so I called em up and they told me to send it to em. Eight months later, I got a new & improved model that has not failed me yet.The company changed hands was why it took so long,the new guys are in BC Canada now, and they want to put kooka on the map as a reliable component company. They are out to dispell the old rumors of good looks, poor function. I can tell you this post does work as good as it looks!

Strengths:
Good machining on the the clamp assymbly. Good color process.Weaknesses:
Pain to adjust, scratches easily, Can't tighten enough on the bike or seat.Bottom Line: Putting the seat on proved precarious given that the hex bolts are laying against the post and turing of the allen wrench scratches it right away. Still wont hold the seat in place. Bottom Line, Kooka is a great company, and they HATE this thing. They told me they were very dissapointed with it and are currently developing a new stem. I have the cranks and rings, and I'm sure the new post will be great. Their stem is the best on the market. It's a work of art. The seatpost just has to play catch-up with the rest of their products. Have to give the post a 1, all the rest of their gear a 5.

Well I never actually owned this seat post, but my best freind owned one, two actually. The bolts in the first one snaped while he was riding down a hill. The second developed a crack down the tube after a short period of time They are also anoying to ajust. DO NOT PURCHASE this seat post unless you are a posser who just want's to flash the rasta colours around.

Bottom Line:
It broke putting a new seat on. Tightening, and with no resistence, just snapped. I think that I'll buy something different but it seems as though every seatpost in the industry breaks. That can't possibly be true. I think a lot of you guys are employing the Just Riding Along lie.

Bottom Line:
I have the rasta post, colors look great, but my bolt stripped or something is keeping the head from tightening down. I cant keep my seat from slipping allot. I will first try my LBS for a replacement to elimanate any down time if I cant fix it. Post is NOT up to my expectations!

I've had the Kooka seatpost for a couple of weeks now. The seat clamp couldn't hold the post i had before this one, and i was happy to notice that this really doesn't flow down a single bit. This is one of the lightest posts when u compare
strongness too. The adjustements are somewhat, amazing, u can adjust the saddle in 30 sec. Overall, i really love it, love the looks, love the stiffness and so on. Can't go wrong if u choose this post. Recommended.Bomber-Nielsen

Bottom Line:
Reviewed it when I bought it and gave it 5 flamin' tomallies. I broke it last week (my faughlt) and took it to my lbs who got it for me. Two days later I had a new one and only had to pay shipping and Handling! Still give it 5 stars becasue Had I not messed around with it, it would not have broken. Kooka Kicks!!!

Used to have a Ringle Moby which was a piece of junk and the company doesn't stand behind their products. Have had no problems with the Kooka post and this company stands behind what they put out. Bitchin colors too.

Bottom Line:
Rasta seatpost is VERY light and VERY attractive. It is the most finely adjustable seat post out there.
