Submitted by ozzybmx a Weekend Warrior from Australia
Date Reviewed: July 1, 2009
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $150.00
Purchased At:Torpedo7
Strengths:....cheaper than the competition
Weaknesses:Develops side to side play same as the others.
Needs serviced every few rides.
Crap seat clamp.
Mine now needs pulled up as the shaft is gouged.
Similar Products Used:Crank brothers joplin for 1 year.
Bike Setup:Nicolai AM
Bottom Line:Im sending it back for a replacment, if im allowed i will make up the difference to get another CB joplin. The inners eventually gouges the moving shaft making the post sticky (needs pulled up), and the side to side play is twice the swing of my CB. I only bought the KSi900 as the CB i had didnt fit my new frame.

Date Reviewed: June 11, 2009
Favorite Trail:Bromont
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $175.00
Purchased At:xxcycles
Strengths:Cheaper than the competition, 5" of adjustability, MINIMAL side to side play, look great
Weaknesses:MINIMAL side to side play, a bit expensive, seatpost head loosen and need to be tightened up every two ride
Similar Products Used:Non adjustable seatpost
Bike Setup:Stock 2008 Giant Reign x1
Bottom Line:First I must say that I simply love being able to drop the saddle without stoping the bike. This thing work well and the 5" is enough even if I would not like to have less travel. The minimal side to side play(1-3mm at the tip of the saddle) is not noticeable while on the bike. The only downside is that I regularly need to tighten up the bolt for the seat clamp. This is the only creaking part on my bike. I still think this part is a must for any freeride or all mountain bike.
