$150.00 | | Purchased At: | Torpedo7 | | Strengths: | ....cheaper than the competition | | Weaknesses: | Develops side to side play same as the others.
Needs serviced every few rides.
Crap seat clamp.
Mine now needs pulled up as the shaft is gouged. | | Similar Products Used: | Crank brothers joplin for 1 year. | | Bike Setup: | Nicolai AM | | Bottom Line: | Im sending it back for a replacment, if im allowed i will make up the difference to get another CB joplin. The inners eventually gouges the moving shaft making the post sticky (needs pulled up), and the side to side play is twice the swing of my CB. I only bought the KSi900 as the CB i had didnt fit my new frame.

$175.00 | | Purchased At: | xxcycles | | Strengths: | Cheaper than the competition, 5" of adjustability, MINIMAL side to side play, look great | | Weaknesses: | MINIMAL side to side play, a bit expensive, seatpost head loosen and need to be tightened up every two ride | | Similar Products Used: | Non adjustable seatpost | | Bike Setup: | Stock 2008 Giant Reign x1 | | Bottom Line: | First I must say that I simply love being able to drop the saddle without stoping the bike. This thing work well and the 5" is enough even if I would not like to have less travel. The minimal side to side play(1-3mm at the tip of the saddle) is not noticeable while on the bike. The only downside is that I regularly need to tighten up the bolt for the seat clamp. This is the only creaking part on my bike. I still think this part is a must for any freeride or all mountain bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$200.00 | | Purchased At: | BTI | | Strengths: | Goes up and down. Works like a charm. Lever is easy to reach. NO SIDE-TO-SIDE PLAY!!!! | | Weaknesses: | At first it had a little stiction, but it's working just fine now. | | Similar Products Used: | N/A | | Bike Setup: | SX Trail, RS Lyrik, X-Fusion H3LT, Juicy 7's, KS i900, Mavic 729's, SRAM X-9, Stylo cranks, Thomson stem, Truvativ XR bars, ODI grips, CB Candies, WTB saddle, Cane Creek S3 Plus headset, no-name front hub and a blown-up XT rear hub. | | Bottom Line: | Great product, cheaper than the competition although still a tad pricey. NO side-to-side play like every other post. I love it, and would definitely buy another one. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
