Strengths: it was black and matched my bike better than a siver post. Never sliped.Weaknesses: bent and cracked 1/2 inch above min. insertion line.
I'm always wiping off the mud that sticks.Bottom Line: I ran my post high for a 20 mile all DOWNHILL night ride. at 350mm long i ran it less than 1 inch above the minimum insertion mark. some parts of the trail got crazy rough & rocky. I weigh 225 lbs. when i looked at my bike the next day, I saw it was bent. Took it out looked, it was cracked too. Cheap aluminun. this is a good replacement if someone steals your post, but after some serious sitting and peddling. my wieght broke it.
