Strengths: ~Long lower rail clamps
~Precise tilt adjustmet
~One bolt design
~Reversible setback
~Composite version as light as Thomson Elite...but stronger than Thomson MasterpieceWeaknesses: Can be heavy - all-alloy versionBottom Line: Depending on which 2010 Giant you purchase - be aware there are TWO DIFFERENT versions of this seatpost:
1) Connect SL - OEM on 2010 Giant Anthem X Advanced SL1, a 250g alloy/composite post in 375mm length.
2) Connect SL - OEM on 2010 Giant Anthem X/1/2, a heavy 330g 6061 alloy post in 375mm length.
I traded-up this post to Giant's race-worthy Contact SLR...lighter than Easton EC90, strong as Thomson Masterpiece.
