Strengths:    Looks,price(carbon-alloy combo materials), strenght, weight

Weaknesses:    none so far

Bottom Line:
a highly recommend post for XC/AM use, because of its weight and materials used,im using it in max height,160lbs rider, at first it slips, a little tweak on the seat collar solved the problem.

FSA products are one of the best maker for bike parts.
i think this one deserves a highest ratings!

Strengths:    looks

Weaknesses:    * FLEXY * FLEXY * FLEXY *

Bottom Line:
I used this on my custom build Salsa Mamasita.
Everything but looks. This is a 27.2 350mm seat post. I have other FSA products (stems) that are good. This is very disappointing....seat post is deflecting at least ½" during riding. First few minutes of the ride I thought the seat was loose or something....I am 170 lbs. + gear, I am riding this at maximum height.

I can see why other 27.2 posts are aluminum core....FSA should not make this all carbon seatpost in this size. Larger sizes may be stiffer.

Dont buy this seat post....at least in this size..27.2

Strengths:    light, there are lighter but I wouldn't trust them. Wont slip down. Clear mark where you better stop taking it up.

Weaknesses:    None, nada, nothing, garnichts.

Bottom Line:
Very reliable, I realy abuse my XC riding, no problems at all. I have colleages that have broken easton and other carbon posts. Not this one. Highoy recomendable.
