from Fremont, CA, USA Date Reviewed: January 2, 2009 Duration Product Used: 1 Year Price Paid:
$30.00 Purchased At: Pricepoint Strengths: Light weight, good clamp design, no creaking, looks good, low price. Weaknesses: Painted finish not as good as anodized but expected at this price. FSA now uses anodizing for the FR-200. Similar Products Used: Thomson Elite, Kore I-Beam. Bike Setup: 2007 Mongoose Canaan Elite, FSA seatpost, Hope clamp, RF Deus stem (CNC'd). Bottom Line: I wanted a strong, lightweight, but inexpensive seatpost in keeping with the lower cost nature of this bike. This product (31.6mm) fits the bill perfectly. It may not have the bling-factor of a pricier post but it performs flawlessly and is a great value. Value Rating: Overall Rating:
