Strengths: So far so good. I have none of the issues that were listed below. I was told before purchase that the posts internals had been revamped for 2011.
Weaknesses: Makes a settling noise when I sit on it. Sorta of like a click, but really no big deal.
Bottom Line:
I think its a good product. Worth the purchase, if you change your seatpost hieght alot, then do it.

Strengths: 125mm - hasslefree no cables - just grip between your legs and it goes down or up.
Weaknesses: a bit sticky when not used for a while, clamp came loose several times until i fixed it with red loctite, clamp came off seatpost (loctite again), DO NOT pull when the lever is not engaged - air will get into the oil and will never go out again (pumping the post up and down solved the problem 95%)
Bottom Line:
there may be better products, but this is the cheapest way to go and this products works ok.
I have used it every other day the last 3 months, even with temperatures far below freezing, so this was true testing ;)

Strengths: Everything
Weaknesses: None
Bottom Line:
No, no issues, works as advertised. Excellent product. More travel and smoother action than the Joplin. 1000 miles, lots of mud and water, still works like new.

Strengths: 5" travel, No lateral play, Easy to service, good customer support. Cheaper than alternatives.
Weaknesses: None!
Bottom Line:
Awesome bit of kit.
I've had mine for just short of two years now, I have no rotational movement, and no fore/aft play. The motion is always silky smooth, the post is simple to service and doesn't require servicing all that often.
When I did have a problem with the lever sticking, one quick email to Pure-Racing and they had the post back for repair and service, free of charge and with a quick turn around.
Great post, cheaper than it's rivals but still better than them, great customer support, what more can anyone want?!!

Strengths: Simple to use. Plenty travel. Price.
Weaknesses: Horizontal play. Bum bump to activate. Cannot have Sella Italia Ti in horizontal position, adjuster doesn't have enough angle.
Bottom Line:
Tied to service the thing per the manual. Pictures differed with reality. Since couldn't move post undid the next seal and the thing exploded. Asked Pure Racing UK what to do and they were as helpful as a flat tire on a drop!
Bike Setup: Old Sugar 2, as original except for the Bontrager wheels where the free-hub breaks down too easily.

Strengths: ....cheaper than the competition
Weaknesses: Develops side to side play same as the others.
Needs serviced every few rides.
Crap seat clamp.
Mine now needs pulled up as the shaft is gouged.
Bottom Line:
Im sending it back for a replacment, if im allowed i will make up the difference to get another CB joplin. The inners eventually gouges the moving shaft making the post sticky (needs pulled up), and the side to side play is twice the swing of my CB. I only bought the KSi900 as the CB i had didnt fit my new frame.

Strengths: Cheaper than the competition, 5" of adjustability, MINIMAL side to side play, look great
Weaknesses: MINIMAL side to side play, a bit expensive, seatpost head loosen and need to be tightened up every two ride
Bottom Line:
First I must say that I simply love being able to drop the saddle without stoping the bike. This thing work well and the 5" is enough even if I would not like to have less travel. The minimal side to side play(1-3mm at the tip of the saddle) is not noticeable while on the bike. The only downside is that I regularly need to tighten up the bolt for the seat clamp. This is the only creaking part on my bike. I still think this part is a must for any freeride or all mountain bike.

Strengths: Goes up and down. Works like a charm. Lever is easy to reach. NO SIDE-TO-SIDE PLAY!!!!
Weaknesses: At first it had a little stiction, but it's working just fine now.
Bottom Line:
Great product, cheaper than the competition although still a tad pricey. NO side-to-side play like every other post. I love it, and would definitely buy another one.
