from Orlando, FL Date Reviewed: October 1, 1998 | | Bottom Line: | After trying almost two dozen Saddle for my hardtail, I came upon the downhill Vuelta Bomber. Workmanship is excellent, design is awesome, and graphics are killer. But most of all, this is without any question the most comfortable saddle in the whole world. It automatically makes the debates regarding aluminum vs. steel and hardtail vs. dualie moot. The only detraction is that the rear is rather wide, but I ride in central Florida and rarely have to pull off. If this bothers you, do what Keith Bontrager used to do--cut the corners off and patch it up with some duct tape. Your body and performance will both be better off. Consider this a review for two as my best friend has this same seat and won't ride anything else. It's hard to find so call Bicycle Sports at (800) 365-2453 and they'll drop ship from the importer. | Overall Rating: |
