Submitted by JW Whitmarsh a Cross-Country Rider from Lancaster, CA
Date Reviewed: July 19, 1999
Duration Product Used:
less than 1 month
Strengths:
VERY comfortableSmall indentation for perineal area
Weaknesses:
None
Similar Products Used:
Specialized Saddle (the stock one on the bike), Specialized Body Geometry Sport
Bike Setup:
1999 Specialized Rockhopper A1 FS, Manitou Spyder fork, mostly Shimano LX components, Specialized hubs and crankset, Cateye Enduro 2 computer
Bottom Line:Test-rode the bike with the stock saddle around the block at the store, and couldn't believe how sore my ass was afterwards. Replaced with this saddle, and the difference was astounding. Anyone considering a Specialized Body Geometry seat should give this one a look first. MUCH more comfortable, better-looking, and half the price.
Overall Rating:5
