Strengths:    Strong leather lining. Cool looking. Comfortable.

Weaknesses:    Well, I will say I think this was a "fluke" but the second time I used this saddle the left rail literally snapped off in the back...rode the last 4 miles with a completely crooked seat. Titec was great about it though and got a new one sent to me immediately. Haven't had any problems since.

Bottom Line:
Good product so far. Hit a little snag (see above) after two rides, but have been fine since. Titec/Profile Design is a great company to deal with and I'd definitely recommend their products as they clearly stand behind them

Strengths:    Comfy

Weaknesses:    steel Rails but that's all I paid for.

Bottom Line:
After an SDG Bell Air this i my next favourite saddle. It's comfy and performs like a Bell Air but made of steel so much heavier.

Strengths:    Super comfy saddle. Narrow width fit me perfectly. Pretty lightweight for such all-mt saddle. Lots of miles with no complaints.

Weaknesses:    I haven't noticed any.

Bottom Line:
Great saddle. Don't see them much in stores, but worth looking for.

Titec Hellbent handlebar?

I'm building up a Niner MCR and the stem and handlebar are the last components I need to buy. I noticed that the Titec Hellbent XC bar is the mtbr.com Best Of 2008 pick, but I've never seen one. Seems they are available in 3 different materials and either 1" or 1.5" rise. I'm most interested in t ... Read More »

Titec HellBent Lock-on grips install question

This seems pretty lame...but I am not sure what to do. I just got a Titec HBar, and Titec Hellbent lock on grips. Is there a certain way to install them? Is there a right and left? Should the word "HELLBENT" be on the bottom or top? What about the two sets of plugs that come with it. They don't fi ... Read More »

Titec Hellbent XC bar positioning

Who has this handlebar and how did you position it? I got the 31.8mm w/ 1" rise and I can't figure out if the bend is the rise or the sweep?? The pic below shows how I used to have it where the lines with "0", "+", "-" markings are facing front, and the red "Titec" and "Hellbent" logo facing down ... Read More »
