Strengths: VERY comfortable. Durable. did I say comfortable. The BG thing really works, hits the right spots.Weaknesses: Heavy. the material makes it difficult to slide back and forth for drops and uphills.Bottom Line: I bought this saddle because I needed comfort for the next couple of months to get back into riding again. Stopped riding for awhile and the butt bones aren't used to the old "racing" (although light) saddle. This saddle was comfortable from the get go, never had any soreness at all, But is fairly heavy. Now that I'm getting back into biking, i want a lighter saddle, looking into the WTB V and the Specialized Alias...will post reviews soon.
5 chilis for excellent product for it's intended purpose. It's comfortable and relatively cheap.
It's heavy, but you don't buy a Gel BG Saddle for it's lightness...
