Selle SMP Stratos Saddle Pro Review

The first time you see an SMP saddle it looks slightly alien or at least like some contortionist nightmare rig. With its wild beaked nose, swooping cradle and monster hand wide middle slot, it is a startling experience. Fortunately, all the features work well together, and make a saddle that is innovative, comfortable, functional, useful and medically beneficial. Continue reading →

Strengths:    The design...Comfort

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
I love this saddle! The beak like nose helps on climbs, and the center channel relieves pressure. It works! Just make sure you select the right saddle for you. All the SMP's follow the same blueprint, the different models just have diffternt widths, and levels of padding. I bought the PRO first, but it was too wide for me. The stratos is a more narrow saddle, so it suits me well. On selle smp's website they have a handy chart that shows all their saddles and pelvic size recommendation. Do your homework and make sure you select the right saddle for you.
Selle SMP has a great design that relieves pressure on sensitive areas!
