I used to have an achy butt and crotch numbness with pretty much all other seats I've used (all lower end). I can ride on this seat for hours and not get a butt ache. No crotch numbness issues ever. Not sure that the crotch ventilation thing does much good on a mountain bike. I can't tell it makes any difference. Super good seat though. Love it. When it dies I'll get another one.
