Product Description

Of all the contact points on a bike, the saddle is most important with regards to fit and comfort. The Selle Italia SLR XC Saddle features a Lorica cover and Kevlar corners for handling all the abuse you can shell out, even during the worst crashes. Selle Italia's Self-modeling padding offers a rider specific fit and the Vanox rails shave grams and provide just the right amount of stiffness under load.

Strengths:    -My buns LOVE them
-Very light
-Sleek looks
-Will make you faster...lol

Weaknesses:    -Cover shreds on one fall
-Must dial in PERFECTLY

Bottom Line:   
I am a weight weenie who has tried nearly EVERY MTB race saddle out there, and this is still my favorite mix of weight, century comfort and value.

This saddle has since been transferred to my road bike - where it rightfully belongs(its really a ROAD saddle). Mine
weighed 145g. Use on your MTB only if you rarely ever crash, because the thin leather cover shreds on just ONE IMPACT.
