Favorite Trail:Rocky Ridge County Park
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $80.00
Purchased At:danscomp.com
Strengths:Light, strong.
Weaknesses:Looks ugly, very uncomfortable
Similar Products Used:Specialized seats
Bike Setup:Salsa El Santo
Bottom Line:Don't buy it. It has no relief grooves so it creates alot of pressure and makes your lower half numb after even short rides. There are alot better saddles out there for cheaper. 2 chilis because its light and strong

Favorite Trail:Home Stretch
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $80.00
Purchased At:AMC
Strengths:Attractive, easy to manouevre around on,very comfortable - a personal thing, and the covering is very durable (the sparkly plastic and kevlar model).
Weaknesses:The ti frame rails crushed up - not that bad for after almost 3 years of riding, and I weigh a lot too.
Similar Products Used:WTB, FIZIK, and flite
Bike Setup:Dekerf generation hardtail, with XT, Raceface, and Z2 fork.
Bottom Line:I like this seat a lot just because it fits me well and it has held up very well - it's now on my third frame ( no the Dekerf didn't break, but some others did ).

Favorite Trail:bike show
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:strong, light, looks good
Weaknesses:none
Similar Products Used:performance topo kt comp (piece), GT (piece)
Bike Setup:Specialized Rockhopper comp fs lx xt
Bottom Line:It's a real nice saddle. I got it for around 40 from price point. It's comfortable, looks good, and its strong. Kevlar corners and titanium rails. Its so good I dont even think about it anymore. Really what good bike stuff should be like. I just need a thudbuster to smooth it out and that would be sweet.

Strengths:Comfortable,cheap,strong,good looking saddle.
Weaknesses:Finish quality perhaps questionable.

Bike Setup:Specialized FSR/SidXL/blahh,blahh,blahh
Bottom Line:This saddle was bought for 40 bucks and is worth double that. You can use this saddle every type of riding although
it may be a little heavy for the full blown XC racer.A good narrow profile without sacrificing comfort plus it certainly
sports THE LOOK.

Date Reviewed: August 3, 1999
Favorite Trail:
Leigh Gorge
Duration Product Used:
less than 1 month
Strengths:
Great looks comfortable lite and slim
Weaknesses:
bent rails Cover is becoming lose (glue)
Similar Products Used:
Max Flite,Vetta TT Trishock, Specalized Prolong,
Bike Setup:
TREK Y3
Bottom Line:I`ve been using this seat for about 3 weeks now, I can move around with no restriction, my shorts do not catch on the nose of this seat when I`m standing pedaling and go to a seated position, or when my butt is over the rear wheel on downhills, the back of this seat is so narrow an slim. I can`t believe how comfortable and supportive this seats is for my butt being this slim.I Love this seat, the blue emboss SDG cover with black kevlar corners looks cool. But after about a week of riding the beautiful blue cover is starting to come unglued from the base of the seat,an the rails are bent slightly I only weight 145lbs, my friends are now teasing me on the amount of money I spent and how poorly the seat is holding up. after 3 weeks of riding and one small crash the blue cover is almost completely lose. what and embarrassment when two of my friends are running around with cheap seats that look an seem fine, I`m quite upset with the quality for the money, But the comfort, slim design an blue emboss cover are cool looking, it`s ashame they don`t make them better, I love this seat!5 turds for looks, design and comfort 4 turds because the cover real lose almost flapping and 3truds on count of the rails bending, what ashame because it`s a nice seat

Strengths:
WOW! i paid $5 at a swap meet for a green glittery ti model
Weaknesses:
none
Similar Products Used:
everything, anything
Bottom Line:a steal at $5, i would have paid $70 list and it would still be a deal. i used to have a synthetic leather ventura that i thought was cool, this seat beats the s*** out of it. if the ventura in 5 stars, the slim jim is 8 stars. you would think its too skinny, but it rules. 5 stars is an insult
